His profile would certainly appeal to Wrexham, despite the likes of Paul Mullin, Ollie Palmer and Steven Fletcher already being on the Red Dragons’ books. Reynolds and McElhenney are forever in the market for marquee additions, and Premier League title winner Vardy would tick that box.
WHAT KER SAID
Ker has told when asked if Vardy is a player that may be of interest to Wrexham: “There's nothing to say that Jamie Vardy wouldn't be a great Wrexham player. It's not a name I've had mentioned inside the building before but, you know, age and profile wouldn't put us off.”

Vardy has just helped Leicester back into the Premier League at the first time of asking, with 20 goals recorded en route to landing the Championship title. He would certainly be an intriguing addition if Wrexham were to make a move, while adding another colourful character to the club’s documentary series.
