Sancho continues to be in exile at Man UtdBasler questions Sancho's personalitySuggested that Bayern would never sign himWHAT HAPPENED?
Basler is well-remembered by the Red Devils faithful as he found the net for Bayern on the fateful night at Camp Nou that saw Sir Alex Ferguson's United secure the treble by winning the 1999 Champions League final. He believes that Sancho will never be pursued by the Bavarians because his personality does not match the ethos of the club.
Sancho has been in first-team exile after he publicly called out his manager Erik ten Hag on social media for dropping him from the matchday squad in early September, with the United boss explaining his main goal is to protect the "culture" of the club.

It has been reported that despite being in exile, Sancho has not been punctual and has missed sessions at Carrington, where he is currently training with the academy players. Basler, 51, said to The Sun: "Bayern are very strict and, when they sign a player, his personality will have to fit in with the club. Sancho may be a good footballer but Bayern would not sign him because he’s not what they look for in a person. Sancho was already a troublemaker in Dortmund. His attitude is a problem and he has to change it.”

Ten Hag remains adamant that Sancho will not be re-integrated into the squad until the England international submits his apology to the coach. However, that remains unlikely as the footballer seems to be looking for a fresh challenge after being left out in the cold for several months.
DID YOU KNOW?
Sancho played his last match for United in their 3-2 defeat against Nottingham Forest on August 26. Overall, he has had just 76 minutes under his belt in this campaign across three appearances, all from the bench.
