Lampard eyeing return to managementHad been interim coach at ChelseaEnjoying family life for the momentWHAT HAPPENED?
Lampard returned to the dugout on a temporary basis to replace Graham Potter as Chelsea boss last season. However, under Lampard, results continued to falter and the possibility of the return becoming permanent was swiftly snuffed out. Mauricio Pochettino was announced as permanent head coach in the summer, although he has struggled to turn fortunes around.

, Lampard said: "Yeah enjoying being with the family and looking to get back at some point. Hopefully something comes up that feels the right thing for me, I'm keen to get working again but as I reiterate, I am enjoying the [family life]. It's an intense job so when you're out of it, it's nice to appreciate being around all my children, my young children particularly and spending more time with those."

In his second spell in charge of the Blues, Lampard won just five points from nine games. Few clubs will be lining up for his services if they consider that record.

For the moment Lampard is insistent he is focusing on his family until the right club comes along. With Pochettino struggling, maybe he will be called on to shepherd the Blues to the end of the season again – although that is probably unlikely.
